SAWTA Membership
Together we can set an industry standard for Ethical & Responsible Wildlife Tourism in South Africa.
STEP 1: Complete the Membership Enquiry form with your relevant information (CLICK HERE).
STEP 2: Should you qualify to apply for SAWTA membership (T&C apply), we will email the SAWTA membership information and online application link to you.
STEP 3: Pay the once-off, non-refundable application fee of R1250 to cover administration & processing cost.
STEP 4: Receive the application forms/links. Complete the Membership Application form(s) and submit ALL required documentation.
STEP 5: Your application will be verified & reviewed for approval by SAWTA.
STEP 6: If all the requirements for membership approval have been met, you will be notified via email.
STEP 7: Upon receipt of Proof of Payment of annual SAWTA membership fee, your official membership certificate (with unique registration number) will be issued and emailed to you.
STEP 8: If you are a wildlife tourism facility (Option 1) your membership application also requires applying for the SAWTA official ACCREDITATION for wildlife facilities offering wildlife tourism.
